Numbers are guideposts; steady, sustainable progress matters more.
The planner uses a simplified estimate of about 7,700 kcal per kilogram of weight loss and divides the estimated deficit across your selected timeline. Actual changes are affected by water, muscle, metabolism, sleep and adherence.
If a goal requires an unusually large deficit or very fast weekly loss, BMIbite hides the intake suggestion and recommends a slower timeline.
This tool provides educational estimates, not medical advice. It is not intended for children, pregnant people or athletes. A gradual weight-loss range of about 0.5–1 kg per week is commonly used.
